Quiz night – we’re back!

Romsey District Scouts are delighted to confirm the return of their popular Quiz Night again this year – on Saturday 18th October 2025.  Our Quiz Master and his team of scorers are busy collating some interesting, entertaining and not-too-difficult questions to challenge our teams!

You don’t have to be an adult in Romsey Scouting to attend; we welcome anyone who enjoys a good quiz (with 5 or 6 of their friends!).  As always, the ticket price will include a light supper and teams are invited to bring their own drinks (and nibbles, if they can’t wait until supper!).   Tickets must be booked by Friday 10th October by emailing this address (please click here) for catering purposes.  We’ll also have a raffle on the night so there is an extra opportunity to win a prize.

We hope to welcome our returning champions as well as many long-standing quizzers.  (Meet our 2024 winners here or read about our 2023 Scout team here).

As always, all proceeds from the event will go towards supporting local young people in Scouting.  (For example, the next World Scout Jamboree will be in Poland in 2027 and we already have more than 20 young Scouts and Explorers from Romsey District interested in getting a place.  Costs are yet to be confirmed but are typically around £4,000 for attendees from the UK so we always try to contribute something towards this whenever we can; the youngsters have to fundraise the rest!)
