This evening the Archery Competition Medalists received their medals. Well done for William from 4th for winning Gold, Dylan from 1st for winning Silver and Sebastian from 1st for winning Bronze.

Out of a possible 120 points William got 116 with 6 inner tens, Dylan got 109 and Sebastian got 105 with one inner 10.

4th also won the 1st Place Team Trophy and were awarded it this evening.

Another fantastic Cub campfire at Lockerley, well done to Ryan and the Cubs team in organising everything in the wind and wet. Also to Phil for surviving the shelter being gone with the wind, and as ever to Martyn for his campfire repertoire ably supported by Liz.

A special mention to Isaac for his first foray into campfire leading, with a cracking rendition of Johnny was a Paratrooper, and Sam for providing some impressive backing vocals too. The future of our campfires will be in safe hands!!!

On Saturday, Scouts from across Romsey District were offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit an aircraft carrier, the HMS Prince of Wales. They experienced the incredible flight deck and even got to visit the bridge.

Thanks to Martin from 9th Romsey (West Wellow) for making this visit possible.

After a successful day shooting with our Scouts on Saturday, 21st's rifle club returned to run their open competition yesterday. The team were busy until 7pm last night such was the popularity of the event.

James, our DLV, decided to disrupt proceedings to present some well deserved awards to two of our volunteers, Steve Batchelor and Steve Wallis. Both volunteer at 21st Romsey as well as being instructors on the rifle team. Wally received his Chief Scout's Commendation for Good Service and Steve B his Award for Merit. We managed to keep the presentation a surprise, thanks to the team for sneaking in family and friends to be there!

Today, 60 scouts met at 21st Romsey Scout HQ for our annual District Shooting Competition. All groups were represented, and there was some great shooting on display.
