As we wind down for the Christmas break, we wish you all a very happy Christmas and lots of exciting new adventures to come in 2026! 🌟

From our youngest Squirrel Scout to our oldest (but still young-at-heart) adult volunteer, you are what makes Scouting Romsey the fun and vibrant community it is. ⛄️

Thank you also to the parents for all the drop-offs, the 'other halves' for all the meals cooked while we've been out Scouting and to all the wider members of our great Romsey area community for all your support over the year. It's wonderful to know that you're with us!🎁

🎄Merry Christmas! 🎅

Romsey fell silent on Sunday for our Remembrance Parade. Thank you to all the leaders and young people who attended, you all looked so smart and were a credit to Romsey Scouting.

Many groups also had their own Remembrance Parades and services in their local area and were equally amazing.

Thank you to Victoria Motherbear-Parker for the picture of our dedicated leaders.

Our Beavers treated the residents of Lockerley to some tuneful and LOUD signing this afternoon at the Beaver Cosy Campfire. The Beavers even lead some of the songs, leaders in the making!

The Beavers were then treated to hot dogs and hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Yesterday gave us chance to recognise one our long standing volunteers with a well deserved good service award. James, our DLV, caught Robin Taylor-Milton unawares on the District Explorers Survival and Bushcraft camp to present his Bar to the Silver Acorn.

Robin has inspired many a young person and adult in Romsey District for many years, and we cannot thank him enough for his efforts overseeing the 14-25 year olds and DofE activities locally. Many congratulations Robin on your award!

Thank you to everyone who spoke with our young people over the radio waves during the JOTA JOTI weekend.

Here is a map of all the countries we worked.

It was brilliant to gather together this evening to celebrate the achievements of our young people at our Chief Scout Awards evening.

Thank you so much to Romsey’s Deputy Mayor, Cllr Colin Burgess who presented the awards this evening along with James, our District Lead Volunteer.
