Want to share the cool things we do at Scouts?

Join the Romsey District Media Team and help tell the story of Scouting across our district! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to capture, create, and share the incredible activities our Scouts get up to.

What you’ll be doing:

• Content Creation: Attending district events, camps, and activities to capture high-quality photos and video footage.
• Digital Publishing: Assisting with posts across our official social media channels and updates for the district website.
• Storytelling: Writing short articles, event write-ups, or press releases highlighting individual and group achievements.
• Brand Management: Helping ensure all communications align with The Scout Association’s visual identity and safeguarding guidelines.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion for Scouting and sharing positive stories.
• Basic experience or strong interest in photography, videography, copy-writing, or social media management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and attend occasional district events.
• Open to 18+ members looking to build their digital portfolio or support the movement.
